Growth and Lessons

It has been a while .........I have noticed a shift, change or growth within myself. How you might ask? Going to library was a rather different experience, I was guided straight to the "dummies" IT section. 1 is I teach IT so am interested in the subject and The Google Story which I read on my last contract was inspiring. Now Google Chrome and all the advances of the information age is amazing and to find no people but machine scanners as you left the library!

This might seem like an outrageous goal but I will retire at age 40 that is only 8 years away - how & why?

I go way back....................when it all started!

Well firstly I experienced debt from the age of 18 when I bought my first car, which I could not afford but somehow used my persuasive skills to get my Mom to agree as I was not 21 yet to buy the car in her name and I pay for it over the next 36 months, well to discover something called insurance which was not mentioned till I was about to sign my life away in my mind I was earning something like R1400 per month in Cape Town and the car re-payments were R600 THEN INSURANCE.......another R300 then the rent of R400 which left me with just enough to put petrol in for 1 week as this was a 2L Boss super fuel eating machine. The GSI got me 3 weeks later doing 130km/h in a 60km/h zone at 7h50am.......a fine arrived FAO ......yes you guessed MOM.........

OMG no admission of guilt I had to go to court! Thank the lord the angels were watching over me........the judge asked me "is this your first offence? I replied: "yes your honour, I have R200 here and am planning to pay the rest off" He looked me up and down and said where were you going in such a hurry at 7h50am? I replied "it is my Mom's car and I was not used to accelerator petal and you honestly cannot feel how fast you are going" Ok then pay the R200 and I never want to see your face here again............was I out of there like a flash.

I was still faced with this financial challenge of things never quiet balancing but am very fortune that I have a very understanding supportive Mother. I then used to constantly "borrow" money for petrol, going out and it just never ended - I paid back what I could afford.

Then I now realised I had to move from
