Seeing your own work

Getting the first copy of the healing connections magazine today and seeing my ad was a great feeling.  My next challenge is to choose a place to run my 1st workshop.  But again looking at the places in magazine I was able to do some enquires, and the secret to good business is keeping your costs down. 

So rather a big difference from your typical well known hotel chain at £28 per person which includes lunch to £10 per hour for the room.  Well the better of the two in based in Beds and Herts so that offer will have to be 2nd or 3rd round as I feel the advert directs people to my website which says venue to be advised (Herfordshire) ahah paging through the magazine I suddenly realise I have the wrong place..........wow this means more choice!

Well browsing though the magazine I have found a therapist networking event for £3 on Wednesday evening......then I am thinking I have a very important interview on Thursday, I really need to stay focused!  I recall seeing two events in the Psychologies magazine one being "writing about your childhood" which is on Tuesday evening but that would mean a trip into London and the whole things would be at least £40 which I cannot spare right now......well one day soon I will be able to do these wonderful things and this time I am just saying yes to universe as this has taught me to really appreciate money!

Barter System

I work from home and do most things on my own.  I am a people's person, so I have to have the radio of in the back ground and love it where I have "company" or just knowing someone is there in the background.  Can you relate?

Looking back what I loved about ship life was I had my desk normal in the back office which was usually situated behind the reception where the admin manager, passenger services manager and traffic which gave the office a buzz which I really when I am working from home on my own.

What I thinking about creating is having a kind of double story house where the front "lounge bit" can be the open plan offices and rent space to people just like myself who are looking for support, company and someone to bounce their ideas off.  We can use a barter type of system as I need help with my graphic design and printing and very advanced PA to book venues or events management and I can do the sales side including promoting them and what they do.  Food for thought.
