Do you think this was a coincidence?

I made plans to go visit an old friend who I have not seen in years.  I had the intention to give her massage during my visit.  During the past week I took my massage chair 

down from the loft.  The thought did cross my mind, I need to start using my skills to earn some extra money.

Last night my friend text me to say she was not feeling well.  This morning she text saying  please do not come through really  not feeling well.  In the meantime my reminder went off on my itouch to remind me there was a health walk in Radlett at 10h30am. I am trying to make new friends locally and keep fit.  

I arrived at http://www.battlersgreenfarm.co.uk/ where the walk started and there were about 20 people.  As you do one of the ladies and I got chatting and walked side by side the whole way.  I explained that I was carrying my freshly squeezed fruit juice in my coffee mup which had spirulina powder and macca powder, I bought these from Sycamore Wholefoods they trade at the market in St Albans, on Saturdays and Wednesday's, in fact Patrick the very helpful gentleman adviced me to get some macca powder.  Now my brother who is the biggest junk food eater came home from work today saying that he felt his energy levels were boosted as he had one glass on my juice. 

 

I juice carrots, apples, melon, berries and water, then add half a teapspoon of spirulina powder and macca powder.  After the 1 hour walk I came across a shop I had been searching for.  In fact the day before I phoned Sycamore foods asking if they knew of a shop that sold, essences and crystals.  Could not find anything else on Google, what I know now is I was looking in the wrong place.  However I got guided by my guardian angels, I saw this little shop www.destinyrising.co.uk.  Now before I went on my walk I said to myself I am not going to take my purse with as I do not want to spend money I do not plan to.  The long of the short is I saw a few things I HAD to have which meant I had to come back to pay for them.  On my return I thought I would ask if they know of anyone who needs a massage therapist, Dana replied, "Yes I have been looking for a massage, my neck ....." I walked over to her and gave her a little rub and we chatted.  Well we bonded and Dana has booked a massage with me on Tuesday and so has one of her staff, Romana, on Wednesday.  Dana and I agreed that she had been asking and that her prayers were answered.......so were mine!  Will keep you posted on the progress on my healing hands!

11 June ~ Business Plan Journey

I started working on my business plan, I started by looking in Microsoft Office Templates and found a UK Business Plan, it looked a bit overwhelming, I turned back to my emails and found this.

for a Successful Coaching Practice  this asked me all the right questions which I will share with you in a another post, the questions got me thinking and when I discovered the earning potential that really stuck me.


I then got a call from James Knight as IMA http://www.imastrategies.com/  I had heard of this strategy once before and it really resonated with my soul.  So I am looking forward to working toward becoming a IMA practitioner. I need to raise £2500 for this course.

To top it off as you previously read about I did a gig for Spa Charter Services, who contacted me saying:

"Hi Karen.

Cool.

My base in the summer is Surrey, if I'm ever there.

I'm booked already for 6, possibly 8 weeks so I'm sure that I will need help because the dates are for the busiest times of the season, and I'm booked.

You don't need to be in the Med, London is fine and will get people to fly you in an out when we can.

Karen, can you please send me a short bio, 2 paragraphs or so and 2 photos. The bio should talk about you as a therapist and mention briefly your work on yachts, I'm not so much interested in that as I am in you as a therapist. This will go to clients so should include all of your qualifications, years of experiience and specialities as a therapist. For the photos, one should be a headshot and another less "static" more of a natural photo that has a little bit of movement. Remember it's not for yachting, but for massage. If you do facials, body treatments or anything else, (nails, etc.) please be sure to put that in. They can hire literally anyone in the world so we need to tell them why it should be "us". 

I expect that by mid-May I will be having several more inquiries and I really need therapists that are already in Europe.

Training found me

In my journey and search of HOW to start your own business and become a specialist in the field I found many things helpful but what I did not find was unless you paid for it there was no one out there that was willing to share their full journey of HOW they actually did it, so I am recording all the little things that are happening along the way to make this possilbe.

On the 10th April 2011 I got an email from NLP Excellence Training saying:

Dear Karen

                       

Further to your recent scholarship application to attend the 2 day NLP Diploma Course.  I am pleased to inform you that your application has been successful.

           

You requested a place on our course in LONDON, the next available course is to be run on 15/16^th June 2011.  If you would like to accept your place on this please confirm AS SOON AS POSSIBLE by E-mail to scholarship@free-nlp.co.uk.

If you are unable to attend this course, but would like details of the next available Diploma in LONDON, please also let us know as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, our scholarship places have been abused by people who have already trained, or are planning to train with other organisations, therefore, by accepting your place, you are agreeing that you have not had any previous training or are booked onto other courses unless prior knowledge has been forwarded to NLP excellence.

Once your place has been confirmed, we will send you a letter by E-mail, and a week before the course, all joining instructions will be sent out.
